New additions to this page includes Yellow and Gold, a song in the tones of yellow, and White Bird 1 & 2, pastels in a very high key. The Angel of Friendship is a very large pastel on paper, click on the image for detail.

The 'Forest spirits triptych' and 'Angel ascending' show angels rising from the forms appearing in light. In 'Guardian angel' form is more definite, and the golden light hints at the connection between the earthly and the divine. Portrait of 'Harry' captures another angel.

'Upper storey' echoes the shapes and light of a natural forest scene, symbolic forms of cathedral like arches and windows appearing in the canopy.
The 'Blue Owl - Pipes of Pan' is a substantial and richly symbolic work, which evokes the sounds of the pipes symbolised by the trees standing against the moonlight.

The 'Gift of rain' is a mixed media work making use of large scale texture in the form of gilded tears descending to the parched, ash strewn earth. The lady in blue rests 'In the silence' of meditation.
